Dr. Shliselberg is a urban planner with many years of experience in sustainable transport, with special interest in social-sustainability and inclusivity. Rebecca holds related degrees in urban and environmental planning from Columbia University, Technion and Tel Aviv University. She has a wide range of professional experience in promoting strategic planning for urban transport as a consultant and now as leads the master plan team of Ayalon highways responsible for promoting sustainable urban transport systems in the urban areas of Haifa and the north, Tel Aviv and the center, and Beer Sheva and the south. The activities of the transport master plan team cover development of analytic tools to support transport planning for bus transit and integrated sustainable urban transport from walk to rail. Her interest in innovation and technology focus on the potential for broadening opportunities by designing for a diversity of needs.
